In June, 2018, the LOSA applied for an IGNITE BUFFALO grant. The idea? Hire people with the cultural competency to help us serve Buffalo's newest business owners: immigrants and those rising from poverty. Our commitment? Make those entry-level hires from right within the impacted communities. The Ignite folks must have liked this, because WE WON! This page will track our progress, including our goal to make these positions self-sustaining when the grant is over.
