Cultural Competency

What is "cultural competency?"  It's awareness of how life experience and culture can impact perception and communication.

If perception and communication between a lawyer and client are not aligned, services are diminished, or even denied.

To make sure we see our client's vision, the LOSA recruits staff with cultural competency.

That way, even if we were inclined to see a grain silo framing the sun, we'll have the resources to know it's just a light fixture from the office (photo by the amazing Clay Davies).
